News on Internet Market
by Jana Passova

AOL broadens its business. It made its fifth purchase in last 12 month. The company bought a buy.at. Buy.at is an online marketing network. This step is a part of a AOL's strategy how to give support to operations of advertising. The company is focused on becoming a one-stop shop for online advertisers. Buy.at is an Internet network for advertisers. A way in which is this Web side different is, that advertiser pay just for a response to add. It means the publisher doesn't have to pay for own advertisement until someone has an interest in it. It works very similar to "Pay per click system". News of purchase came a little while afterwards a first financial report of this year. Investors of AOL hope for a plan of structure modification of the media giant. This could be a new task for a Jeffrey Bewkes, the newest Chief Executive. A little complications and pressure for AOL brought news about 31 dollars per share offer of Microsoft to buy Yahoo. Microsoft is the big AOL's big rival. In 2001 AOL joined with Time Warner. This combination cost about $112 billion. Since beginning of the 2008 Time Warner's shares have fallen down about 12 %. There are fears that ad sales could be hurt by economic recession. Another successful company on the Internet market is SigEx Telecom. This company is quickly becoming a leader on digital stream broadcasting market. It's a provider for innovative social communications. This company offers: talk, upload or share video clips through online TV broadcasting, web sides, blogs and the other applications. Shareholders are private investors, families and companies.
